Atende Clínica: scheduling, WhatsApp, and a team on Telegram
A project that brings together scheduling and WhatsApp for clinics and lets them organize their team through Telegram.
Atende Clínica is an open customer service system for clinics. It brings together an online schedule, automatic confirmations, a waitlist, and return visit reminders. Patients can chat through WhatsApp or the website chat, while the team has a reception page to follow up on appointments and organize clinic information.
With advance confirmations and quick release of canceled time slots, the system helps reception staff keep track of the schedule and offer openings to people on the waitlist. Patients can also book or reschedule appointments and ask frequently asked questions through the available channels. When human assistance is needed, the conversation can be forwarded to the team.
To get started, the source recommends first testing the system on a computer with Python, setting up the clinic’s information, and trying the chat and reception page. For production use, a VPS with Docker is required; connecting WhatsApp depends on an Evolution API, and the team’s service channels are optional. Review the privacy rules and required settings before enabling reminders.
