Reserva Restaurante — a plan for WhatsApp bookings and a Telegram team
The planning kit describes table bookings through WhatsApp and team coordination on Telegram, with 93 tests and /goal for implementation.
Reserva Restaurante is a planning kit for building a table reservation system. It brings together a specification, 93 acceptance tests—checks of what the system should do—, safeguards against shortcuts, and instructions for a coding agent. The application is not ready yet: anyone using the kit runs the implementation in their own environment.
The plan is to let customers reserve, check, or cancel a table through chat or WhatsApp, as well as ask questions and request help. For the team, the planned system includes reservation alerts, a page for tracking tables and shifts, and tools for managing the waitlist and large groups. Customer contact information stays with the restaurant, and campaigns go only to people who have agreed to receive them.
To get started, review the proposed decisions and confirm or adjust the ones that change the system contract. Then freeze the specification and tests, and an agent such as Claude Code or Codex can implement the plan. Python and pytest are needed for the tests; Docker is used in the final check. Note that the 93 tests have not passed yet: this can only be checked after implementation.
