jev-gw – decision gateway for Jev
Project providing a decision gateway for the Jev system, simplifying workflow orchestration.
jev-gw is a single access point for Jev, a system that helps make decisions. Instead of each part of a project calling Jev on its own, the gateway brings that communication together. It works with Python 3.10 or later and uses only features included with Python.
For users, it brings daily spending limits, reuse of saved answers, and a record of the cost and time of each query into one place. If Jev is unavailable or another query problem occurs, the gateway sends the case for human review without bringing down the system that called it. Customer data sent in the state field is not saved.
To get started, you can download the project and run its tests, import the function directly into a Python system, or start the local service. A Jev key is only needed for a real query; tests and examples work without one. Keep in mind that the tests check integration and error handling, but do not measure decision quality.
