Essential Design in Figma for Creators

Course teaching fundamental design skills in Figma for content creators.

Design Essencial no Figma para Criadores is a design course organized into six modules and 18 lessons of about 15 minutes each. Through reading, examples, and activities, it guides learners in creating a cover and three pages for a fictional photography tour. The work brings together images, text, and criteria that can be checked. The laid-out examples explain design choices, but they are not screenshots of the Figma interface.

The course covers steps from organizing a file to delivering the finished pieces. In the lessons, learners create frames, place images, organize text and spacing, use effects with a purpose, and repeat choices with styles and components. At the end, the series requires four checked PNG files and an editable copy in .fig format. This makes it possible to review the pieces and keep the work file for future reference.

To get started, you need a computer, a browser, and a Figma account with editing permission. Production takes place on a computer; a phone can be used for reading and review. The lessons include short exercises, but studying and assembling the pieces take additional time: the recommended amount is 8–12 hours. It is also a good idea to check the current limits of the Figma account. Progress is saved in the browser, and the course recommends keeping a copy of your learning journey.
