Brains with Astra: long-term memory for your assistant
How the second brain connects to GPT-6 Astra and what changes day to day.
ASTRA 2º Cérebro brings together projects that connect persistent memory to AI assistants. The main repository and three supporting projects have been published on GitHub, with online guides. One lets tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Claude Desktop access this memory through a local connection.
In practice, the idea is to help an assistant retrieve stored information and work with it across different tools. One project lets Claude Code and Codex use the same brain; another brings together integration options, such as importing files and connecting to n8n workflows. Depending on the tools configured, this can make it easier to organize and look up information in everyday use.
To get started, consult the main project and the guides for the supporting repositories. Check which tools each one connects to and which write actions need to be enabled by the user. The source describes these features but does not provide an architecture recommendation for building an autonomous personal agent.
