cerebro-duplo – one second brain used by Claude Code and Codex with task router
Project enabling the same second brain to operate simultaneously in Claude Code and Codex, ensuring task parity.
cerebro-duplo is a tool for using the same second brain—a folder of files and instructions—with both Claude Code and Codex. It keeps each agent’s manuals and skills in sync and helps choose which one to use for each task. The project runs with Bash, without additional dependencies.
For people who use both agents, this makes it easier to switch between them without keeping separate copies of the brain. The router suggests the agent, model, and effort level for the task, such as working on code, conducting an audit, or summarizing a meeting. It also lets users record sessions and minutes of use by agent and profile.
To get started, you need a brain created with the astra-2cerebro kit and Bash 4 or later. The project guide explains how to install the tools, check that the files are in sync, and adjust the profiles to your plan. Claude Code and Codex are optional for checking, syncing, and recording usage; they are only needed to open a session with those agents.
